December 12-13, 2019
Let’s Make a Difference Together
Brief Introduction
In 1996 the first Symposium of Botany of Baja California and adjacent areas was held in the School of Sciences of the Autonomous University of Baja California, campus Ensenada (UABC). The goal: to exchange knowledge about studies of the botany of the binational region, to provide young student a forum to present their thesis results and to develop professional networks.
Twelve times, the symposium was held at the UABC, twice at the Centro de Investigaciones Biológicas del Noroeste, La Paz, BCS (2000 and 2003), and twice at the Natural History Museum of San Diego (1998, 2002).
